Farm Bureau lobbyist joins AES Indiana
Jeff Cummins, currently the Director of State Government Affairs, Environment and Natural Resources for Indiana Farm Bureau, is set to join AES Indiana's public policy team as their new Government Affairs Manager. Cummins will officially step into his new role in mid-September, bringing with him a wealth of experience in policy and regulatory affairs.
In his upcoming role at AES Indiana, Cummins will be responsible for managing the company's policy and regulatory priorities. This will include lobbying efforts at the Indiana Statehouse.
A native of Austin, Indiana, Cummins holds both undergraduate and law degrees from Indiana University. His career trajectory has equipped him with a deep understanding of state-level policy and regulation. Before his tenure at INFB, Cummins spent four and a half years with the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, serving in various roles but most recently as counsel and legislative director. Prior to that, he worked for two years with the Office of the Indiana Attorney General.
